A Revisit to Parc Gwyn Crematorium Narbeth today, Bagpiping for the Funeral of a local lady of Glasgow & Cumnock heritage.
On the arrival of the cortege, I led to the chapel playing “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”, “The Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen” & “Flower of Scotland”.
For the Chapel Entry, the family selected tune was “Amazing Grace”.
The Committal involved playing the poignant tune “Going Home”.
Then for the ceremony departure, I started with “The Skye Boat Song”, continuing with “The Shores of Loch Katrine” & “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
