I led organisers Paul, Mo, Lucy & local residents from the Llandough Memorial Hall to the King Edward V playing fields. This was for the Jubilee Event Beacon lighting.
In addition, at 9.35pm, I played the specially composed “Diu Regnare” (Long to Reign) by P/M Stuart Liddell. Bagpipers all of the world played this tune at this time (GMT).
Thereafter, the Beacon was then lit at 9.45pm. After that, I played “Calon Lan” accompanied by 2 singers & local residents.
