A revisit to Llwydcoed Crematorium today, Bagpiping for the Funeral of a Gentleman who was an RAF Veteran & Classical Car enthusiast.
I met the cortege on arrival, led by a 1949 Bentley & played to the chapel with “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”.
After the service, as mourners assembled in the Memorial Garden, I played “Amazing Grace”, “Sleep, Dearie Sleep” & “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”.
Our Condolences to family & many friends.
Working with Rob & his colleagues of D J Protheroe & Sons. Also taking part were Standard Bearers from Military Veterans Groups including Merthyr Branch of the Regimental Association of the Royal Welsh & 415 Merthyr Tydfil Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
