Remembrance-Assembly-JohnFrostSchool-Newport 8th Nov, 2024.

A revisit to The John Frost School today, to play the Bagpipes for the school’s annual Remembrance Assembly.

I led the Standard Bearer from the Royal British Legion, Dignitaries & school staff into a packed hall with the Slow Air “My Home”.

After the Last Post, I led down the aisle playing “Oft in the Stilly Night” with “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith“.

Following the Kohima Epitaph & Exhortation, I led all from the hall to “The Mist Covered Mountains” & “Flowers of the Forest”.

Thank You once again to the Head Master & Samantha for inviting me back and for their hospitality. A very fitting & poignant service
