Rosedew-Farm-Wedding-Bagpipes 24th Aug, 2024.
Wedding Bagpiping today at Rosedew Farm near Llantwit Major, for the Wedding of Dale & Lynn, who’s legal ceremony took place in Italy at an earlier date.
I was asked to perform as an extended play for the arrival of guests and to deconflict with other musicians. Many tunes & sets were played that incorporated the Scots & Welsh heritages of the Bride & Groom, along with many guests who had travelled from the Glasgow area.
Lynn specifically asked for “Caledonia”, which I accompanied with the Welsh & Scottish National Anthems.
Warm Congratulations to Lynn & Dale and very best wishes to you both. It was an honour to be part of your day 🙂
