At many functions I offer to play for the arrival of guests, lead the guest of honour into the venue & play special tunes where requested or appropriate. These could include Happy Birthday, traditional tunes or family favourites. Short recitals between meal courses can also be included.

John was marvellous. He arrived early and helped advise us on what would make for a good programme in terms of when to play, the piping-in of the haggis, and what tunes he could play later and when. His playing outside the hall at the start was truly memorable for guests arriving, especially those walking across the village to the hall. Everything went well, and the guests all agreed that his performance was crucial to making the evening great fun and an event to remember.

We decided to hire John for our wedding after hearing and seeing him at a wedding fayre at our venue. We were instantly charmed by his bagpipe playing but also his friendly personality. When we got more information from him on prices we realised that he was fantastic value for money so decided to hire him for the whole day.
