Congratulations to Mary, pictured with husband Bill on her very Special Birthday at The Antelope Hotel in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil, tonight.

As a complete Surprise, I appeared at the allotted time with a medley of upbeat tunes.  This started with the “Heights of Dargai”, as well as, “Happy Birthday”.

Thereafter, I played a few different medleys which included “The Green Hills of Tyrol” (aka The Scottish Soldier), “Calon Lan”, “Flower of Scotland”, “Cwm Rhondda”, “Scotland the Brave”.  In addition, I played a number of upbeat 6/8 Marches.  In conclusion, a great night was had by all
