StPetersChurch-Roath-Funeral-Bagpipes 8th May, 2026.
Funeral Bagpiping today at St. Peter’s Church in Roath Cardiff. The service was for a Gentleman with Welsh, Scottish & Italian connections.
As mourners arrived, I played a number of tunes which included: “My Home”, “The Mist Covered Mountains”, “Oft in the Stilly Night” and the requested “Amazing Grace” to lead the procession into the church.
After the service, as mourners departed the church, I played: “Sailing”, “The Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond”, “Myfanwy”, “Calon Lan”, “Land of My Fathers”, “Flower of Scotland”, “The Mull of Kintyre” & “The Skye Boat Song” until the cortege departed.
Our Condolences to the family & friends.
