Funeral Bagpiping at Thornhill Crematorium Cardiff today. This was for a lady born near Montrose Scotland, was formerly a WRAF Nurse & lived in Cardiff for many years.
On approach of the cortege, I led to the chapel with “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”.
I led into the chapel with the requested; “The Skye Boat Song”. Following the committal, I played the first part of the Piobaireachd tune “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
For the departure, I led out to the requested: “Amazing Grace”. “The Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen”, “The Mull of Kintyre” & “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”.
Our Condolences to the family & many friends.
