Thornhill-Crematorium/Cemetery-Funeral-Bagpipes 23rd June, 2025.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Thornhill Crematorium and Cemetery. The service was for an Oban (Argyll & Bute, Scotland) born lady.
On the cortege’s approach, I led to the chapel with “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”.
Following the service, I led mourners to the graveside playing; “Flower of Scotland” & “Flowers of the Forest” Whilst the coffin was carried to the graveside, I played “The Ladies of the Alamo”.
After the interment, I played “Queen Elizabeth II Salute” (Urlar Only – Piobaireachd), “Mull of Kintyre” & concluding with “Flower of Scotland”.
Our Condolences to the family & many mourners. Working alongside the very professional Helen & her team from Adams & Young Funeral Directors Ltd of Cardiff.
