Veteran-Funeral-Sirhowy-Bagpipes 13th Nov, 2024.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium. The very well attended service was for a Gentleman & Veteran of the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards.
On arrival, the cortege progressed through two lines of Standard Bearers from various Veteran Associations with me playing: “Flowers of the Forest” & “Oft in the Stilly Night”.
For the chapel entry the family requested tune was: “The Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond”.
I led the Veterans, Family & Friends from the chapel to the requested: “Flower of Scotland”, “Land of My Fathers” & “Amazing Grace”.
Our Sincere Condolences to the family & friends.
