A first visit to  Portland House in Cardiff Bay yesterday.  Bagpiping for the Wedding of Gemma & Rhys 🙂
Performing a multitude of tune sets as guests were arriving, this continued until the arrival of the Bride.  In addition, the Bride dismounted from the transport to the Scottish & Welsh National Anthems.
The Bridesmaids & Flower Girls were led into the ceremony with the Welsh Lullaby “Sou Gan”.  Moreover, shortly after the Bride’s entrance was to “The Bridal March”.

During the Register Signing, the selected tune was Braveheart’s “For the Love of a Princess”.  As well as, the  accompaniment of “Myfanwy”.  Both were to acknowledge the Bride’s Scots & Groom’s Welsh Heritage.
After that, I lead the Happy Couple from the ceremony with firstly, “Mhairi’s Wedding”.  Secondly, “Scotland the Brave”. Thirdly, “The Rowan Tree”, followed by other tunes.  This was to the initial Drinks Reception & Photos.

Thereafter, the Wedding Party were then invited to move to “The Bowl” within Cardiff Bay for main photographs.  As well as, accompanied throughout with many tunes on the Bagpipes.

In addition, my final participation was to lead the newlyweds to the Top Table to their chosen “Cwm Rhondda”.

In conclusion, Many Congratulations to a lovely Couple 🙂
