A pleasure today, Wedding Bagpiping at Belle Vue Park in the City of Newport & later BelleVue Tea Rooms. This was a Surprise for Groom Darren from his fiancé Emma 🙂
I appeared & played for arriving guests with a multitude of tunes including a Welsh Theme.
I led the Bride & Bridal Party into the ceremony to the requested: “Jurassic Park”.
For the Register Signing & to reflect both Welsh parties, I played: “Myfanwy”, “Sou Gan” (Welsh Lullaby) along with “The Rose (Bette Midler)”.
I then led the happy couple from the ceremony, to the celebratory & upbeat “Mhairi’s Wedding” with “The Barren Rocks of Aden”, continuing to the Drinks Reception area with medleys of other tunes.
A fantastic day at the office and many Congratulations to the Emma & Darren 🙂
