A Fantastic Day Yesterday, Bagpiping for the Wedding of Christopher & Francesca at Folly Farm Centre near Bristol.
The family has historical & fond memories of visits to Western Scotland where Bagpipes made lifelong & heartfelt memories.
I played for Arriving Guests which included many personal favourites, such as; “Caledonia”, “Wild Mountain Theme” (Corries), “The Caledonian Canal” & “The Shores of Loch Katrine”. This also included a Classical Bagpiping Piobaireachd tune called “Field of Gold” that the family had knowledge of 🙂
I led the Bride into the outdoor ceremony with the Braveheart tune – “For the Love of a Princess”.
The Scots Theme continued during the Register Signing, with “The Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen”, “The Blue Bells of Scotland” & “The Skye Boat Song”.
Thereafter, the happy couple were led to the drinks reception with “Mhairis Wedding”, “Scotland the Brave” & “The Rowan Tree”.
Many tunes followed during the photographs, before leading the happy couple into the Wedding Breakfast to a Special favourite – “Rod Stewart – Sailing”
