Wedding-Bagpipes-Jemma-Jack-Chepstow 10th Nov, 2022.
An excellent day today, Bagpiping at the Wedding of Jack & Jemma at Priory Church of St Mary, Chepstow.
My initial participation was a complete surprise for the Father of the Bride. My brief was to strike up and lead into the church shortly before the Minister announced the newly married couple to the guests, playing “Flower of Scotland”, “Mhairi’s Wedding” & “The Mist Covered Mountains 🙂
Then, to allow the church bells to take over, as the couple exited the church to their photographs. Thereafter, to make my way to St Tewdrics House where I met arriving guests & the newlyweds with a multitude of tunes, starting with “The Bridal March”. Then continuing around the grounds during the Drinks Reception & Photographs.
