I played as guests & Bridal Party arrived with a multitude of tunes, most selected by Lindsey.

The Bridal Entry was to the Braveheart tune – “She Moved Through the Fair”.

Requested melodies for the register signing included: “The Mist Covered Mountains”, “The Dark Isle” & “Flowers of the Forest”.

For the ceremony departure the selected tune was: “Mhairi’s Wedding”, accompanied by many others for the initial drinks & photos.  These included a request for the classical Bagpiping Piobaireachd tune “Field of Gold”, of which Lindsey has a great wealth of knowledge.

Thereafter, for the arrival of evening guests I again played many other sets which included a very special family tune “Sailing”, before leading the happy couple into the evening reception to a rapturous welcome with “Mhairi’s Wedding” & “Scotland the Brave”.

It was a great honour to be part of their Special Day. It was lovely to meet all the family & friends once again.
