Wedding Bagpipes Myddfai-Llandovery, Conor & Menna, 5th Oct, 2019. A revisit to Mydffai, near Llandovery today, Bagpiping for the Wedding of Conor & Menna. I played many requested tunes with Welsh & Scottish connections as guests arrived.
In addition, I led both the Bride & Groom into the ceremony together to the tune “The Skye Boat Song.”
For the Register Signing selected tunes included “Sailing” & “Myfanwy”. Then leading out to the Drinks Reception to “Queen Elizabeth’s March” followed by a medley of “Mhairi’s Wedding”, “Scotland the Brave” & “The Rowan Tree”.
In conclusion, after further tune sessions, I then led the happy couple into the Wedding Breakfast. Tunes were “Calon Lan” & “Auld Lang Syne”. A fantastic day and Congratulations to you both
