Our first visit to Pontypridd Golf Club yesterday. Playing the Bagpipes for Philippa & Russell’s Wedding.
I started playing “Scotland the Brave” as the Scots guests arrived. Similarly, this continued until the ceremony time. After that, I led the Flower Girls, Bridesmaids & Philippa (& her son escort) into the ceremony. This was to “Flower of Scotland”.
To maintaining the Scots theme, I therefore, played “The Skye Boat Song”, in addition to, “The Mull of Kintyre”.
Thereafter, keeping the Scots & Welsh Celtic combination, I led the happy couple out of the ceremony to “Land of my Fathers”.
Many further tune sets continued for the Drinks Reception. As well as, leading the newlyweds into the Wedding Buffet to “Cwm Rhondda”. Many Congratulations to the Happy Couple. In conclusion, Thank You for asking us to be part of your Special Day 🙂
