Another fantastic day today, Bagpiping for Richard & Fiona’s Wedding at Maes Manor Hotel Blackwood 🙂
I played many tunes as guests arrived, also serenading the Bridal Party as they prepared at the venue with Scots related tunes to reflect Fiona’s heritage.
I then led the Paige Boy who carried a Memorial Candle into the ceremony room to “Wings” the Regimental March of the Royal Engineers and to reflect the Groom’s Regimental connections. This was also to remember family members with historic links to the Royal Engineers, who are no longer with us.
Following the ceremony I again played a multitude of tunes during the Drinks Reception & Initial Photos.
