Wedding Bagpipes Sully-Penarth, Rebecca & Katherine, 21st Sept, 2019. Congratulations to Rebecca & Katherine, who married today at Manor House Hotel & Restaurant, Sully Road, Penarth.
I played a multitude of tunes for arriving guests. In addition, this included the Welsh National Anthem for Katherine, as she prepared at the Manor. Paige Boys with Rebecca & Flower Girls with Katherine were led into the ceremony to “Flower of Scotland”.
During the register signing the Wedding Party were serenaded with “Myfanwy”, “The Skye Boat Song” & “Sou Gan”. As well as leading the happy couple out to “Mhairi’s Wedding”. Other tune medleys were played during drinks & photos.
In conclusion, I then played “Scotland the Brave” & “The Rowan Tree” to a rapturous welcome into the Wedding Breakfast.
