Bagpiping at Tynewydd Country Hotel Hirwaun today. Bagpiping for Kayleigh & Ceri’s Wedding. A pleasure playing for arriving guests. In addition to, leading the Bride into the outdooor ceremony to “The Skye Boat Song”.
Thereafter, the Register Signing tunes were a mix of Welsh & Scottish. These were: Braveheart’s – “For the Love of a Princess”, “Highland Cathedral” and “Sou Gan” (A Welsh Lullaby).
After that, the ceremony departure tunes consisted of “Mhiari’s Wedding”, “Scotland the Brave” and “The Rowan Tree”. As well as, “Flower of Scotland” specifically for the start of the Drinks Reception & Group Photo.
Thereafter, I played many tunes during the Drinks & Photos. Moreover, then leading the couple into the Wedding Breakfast to “Cwm Rhondda”.
