Wedding-Bagpiping-Coed-Y-Mwstwr-Alex-Gwawr 17th Sept, 2021.
A return visit to Coed y Mwstwr Hotel Bridgend today for the Wedding of Alex & Gwawr. After playing many tunes for the arrival of guests, I played “The Rose” for the Bride’s Entry into the ceremony.
During the signing of the register, I played tunes to reflect the Welsh & Scottish connections. These were: “Flower of Scotland”, “Land of my Fathers, “Highland Cathedral” and “Myfanwy”.
In addition, I led the newly married couple from the ceremony. The tunes were “Scotland the Brave” & other upbeat tunes, leading to the Drinks Reception.
Moreover, further medleys took place for the initial photographs within the venue grounds.
