Wedding-Blessing-Handfast-Bagpipes 18th Mar, 2022.
A Fabulous Day in glorious sunshine yesterday. Bagpiping for the Wedding Blessing of Sandra & Gordon. This took place at The Cliff Hotel & Spa near Cardigan Ceredigion
A real pleasure playing a multitude of Welsh & Scottish tunes, as guests assembled on the sun drenched patio.
In addition, during the ‘Handfasting Ceremony’, I played “Myfanwy” with “The Skye Boat Song”. Thereafter, leading the couple to the Drinks Reception with “Mhairi’s Wedding”, “Scotland the Brave”, as well as, “The Rowan Tree”.
My Bagpiping continued during the photo sessions in the grounds. Also, leading Sandra & Gordon into the Wedding Breakfast with upbeat “The High Road to Gairloch”, with “Scotland the Brave”.
