World Pipeband Champs2018, Glasgow, 18th August, 2018.  Last Saturday was the finals of the World PipeBand Championships in Glasgow. The premier grade is Grade 1. Once again Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band from Northern Ireland won overall. The Saturday consists of two events: The first is a March, Strathspey & Reel & later in the day a Medley, which consists of each band playing a 6-8 min series of tunes. The cumulative total of points awarded by 4 judges determines the winner. The clip is FMM’s Medley.
